CBI3 finalist Wilfredo Torres joins Mitch Brown & Michel Golden on a new mini series from Digital Webbing! Congratulations, Wilfredo!

Take some fallen angels, a bit of fire and brimstone, a disgruntled immortal, a plan to out-deceive the Great Deceiver himself; throw in a slew of Michael Golden covers; and you’ve got the upcoming, highly anticipated mini-series Demon’s Regret nailed on a spike.

Germinating in the brain of writer Mitch Brown for over two years, the plot of Demon’s Regret tags along with the 1/3 of the fallen angels who decide to follow Lucifer in rebellion and war with Archangel Michael. But what happens to those angels that choose the path of evil rather than good? No pathway to salvation, no way of turning back once the dye is cast?!

And, what happens if one of those fallen angels–demons–regrets his decision?

The story focuses on one such angel, Asmodeus, who, although he can never give up his demon status, chooses to assist with the commission of lesser evil to stop greater wrongs as an expression of his anger toward Lucifer. He has done so throughout history….as the reader will soon discover!

But what transpires if/when the boss discovers the ruse?

With shrewd dialogue and story structure from Brown, the interior art is provided by talented creator Wilfredo Torres, who made his first foray into comics on Terminus Media’s series of Evolution books. After being selected as a Top Ten finalist on Comic Book Resources–CBI3, Wilfredo went on to work for Mark Waid on Boom! Studio’s limited series, Salem: Queen of Thorns. His fine line work is an inspired choice to take us into the underworld and beyond.

Cover duties go to comics mastermind Michael Golden, who, with recent work on Iron Man, Exiles, Heroes for Hire, Wonder Woman, Wolverine, and G.I. Joe, seems a perfect choice to bring some devilish dealings to the Demon’s Regret frontage. Touted for his groundbreaking work on The ‘Nam, Micronauts, Dr. Strange, Batman, and Nightwing, recent art projects on Golden include such titles as Modern Masters–Michael Golden; Modern Masters: In the Studio with Michael Golden DVD; Excess The Art of Michael Golden, (going into a second printing), and the upcoming Creator Chronicles: Michael Golden Sketch Cover DVD.

Published by Digital Webbing, Demon’s Regret is a unique anti-hero tale that fits in nicely with Digital Webbing’s themed books such as “Bloodrayne” and “Bleeders,” while also reminding us of some other anti-heroes in the comics lexicon who too sometimes use evil to combat evil… Unlike the guy with the skull on his chest and the AK47, however, Asmodeus has no choice.

Come along for the riveting ride!

“Demon’s Regret” can be ordered from the Digital Webbing section of the Diamond catalogue, or directly from their website at: www.digitalwebbing.com

Here is my Q & A with Comic Book Idol 3 WINNER, Jon Reed!

Enjoy!

1. For the finale, did you find yourself checking the polls constantly, or did you just wait until the end?

I have to admit that I checked the polls a number of times during the final vote of Round 5. I didn’t get much work done at my job that day.

2. How did you prepare yourself before the voting results? Do you do the ol’ “prepare yourself for the worst” routine or what?

Yeah. I guess I did prepare myself for the worst. I’d just remind myself that “I should be happy to have made it this far”. But with the amount of exposure granted by this contest, I really think I could have been voted off in Round 3, and after a few minutes of feeling bad, exited the contest with nothing but a big smile on my face. Heck, I was totally prepared not to even get picked to be in the top ten.

3. Who is the most surprising person to you who voted for you? Any old seventh-grade classmates?

There were more than a couple people from high school that had found out about the contest and voted for me. It felt good to see some old friends take some time out of their day and show some support. It’s not a horribly involved process, voting, but it’s also an easy thing to hear about and ignore. If you read this, thanks a million guys!

4. Did any of the comments from any of the judges over the course of the competition strike you as unfair at all? Which comments were right on the mark?

I will never forget the words Marc Silvestri wrote about my work. The guy is a legend. And he gave such great critiques for all of us. Thanks so much to Marc and it’s awesome how J., Jonah, and Brandon got him as a judge. The other judges were great too. Sorry to single out Marc. I’m just a big fan. But who isn’t?

I wouldn’t say that any of the judges were unfair. Some guys sugar coat things and some don’t. I’ll take whatever I can get when it comes to a critique. Not that it doesn’t hurt sometimes. But hey, Marc could have walked all over me with cleats for three paragraphs and I’d have two mashed thumbs shoved in the air as he walked away (Not that he did that. Like I said before, his critiques were spot on). Plus, I think if we (those seeking advice) get too sensitive it will chase off the artists we like from ever doing critiques. There are other ways to look at it that I understand and agree with, but as far as I’m concerned the previous sentence is MY primary concern.

5. Did the Legion assignment prepare you for another increase in pages, or as it still a shock to go to 5 pages in one week?

It was still a shock to go to 5 pages in round 5. I only had 3.5 days to do them. Leading up to the deadline I had been drawing for 27 hours straight. No real breaks to speak of and no sleep. I talked to Charles over e-mail that morning. I think he said he had been drawing for 30 hours straight. I’d never done this before. It wasn’t as bad as you’d think though. My back hurt more than my hand or head.

 6. Which style of script do you prefer working with - detailed or loose?

A: I don’t know really. I guess my “dream” assignment at this stage would be to have a fairly detailed script, but then have the ability to convince the other guys involved that I could do a much better job if we could change just a few panels if I was REALLY seeing something.

7. What compelled you to apply to Comic Book Idol?

I was drawing a story with Dawud Turner and Jay Vargas for a start up company called Ny-Lon Comics. They convinced me to apply and I will always be grateful to them for doing so.

8. Who’s the first person you called after winning the contest?

My wife. She was happy.

9. Finally, take this space to promote the heck out of whatever you would like to promote!

Mr Editor:

Please Hire me! I am hungry as hell and eager to please. I will draw until the sun rises every day for you and revise whatever you want revised. I have all the tools necessary. I will make the pencils come out perfect and prove to you based on the merit of my work that I am deserving of future assignments. You won’t regret it.

Here’s my Q & A with Comic Book Idol 3 runner-up, Charles Paul Wilson III!

Enjoy!

1. For the finale, did you find yourself checking the polls constantly, or did you just wait until the end?

Oh, definitely reloading the page every minute. Then, for the first time in a really long while, my internet stopped working and I was forced to join the real world for a bit. Once it started up again, though, it was back to clicking on refresh. It was neck and neck for the most part, not a landslide in anyone’s favor at the get-go, so it was tough to tear myself away.

2. How did you prepare yourself before the voting results? Did you do the ol’ “prepare yourself for the worst” routine or what?

Ha ha I did that the first round. Totally prepared to be knocked out early in the game. Still, going by the statistics, I was surprised when Caio was eliminated the fourth round and from then on I realized the end result was still up in the air. Serious white knuckle action on that mouse before the end.

3. Who is the most surprising person to you who voted for you? Any old seventh-grade classmates?

Hmmm… I definitely saw a few people I ran around in high school with show up in the voting area, and I think I’m glad they know I’m still doing something creative.

4. Did any of the comments from any of the judges over the course of the competition strike you as unfair at all? Which comments were right on the mark?

Really, I’ve done portfolio reviews at noisy conventions over the past few years and here it’s been awesome to see the editors/artists be able to elaborate on certain aspects of my work they feel need improvement without having to look at a clock or contend with thirty more people standing in front of and/or behind me in line. I’m extremely pleased to see the critiques on my work this year are more advanced in terms of story-telling technique and specific anatomy/proportion issues as opposed to, say, “Your figures need work, your perspective needs work and the hair you draw looks like plastic!” (Ha ha, that’s actually from my very first portfolio review!)

But, yeah, the editors have shown us what they expect to see in our portfolios should we ask them for work, and the artists have told us what we need to be capable of if we want to be good at what we do and survive in the business once we manage to get in. And with the close
interaction between the editors and all the work over all five rounds it was a sharp reminder that editors are probably not going to want to hire an artist if they have to make corrections in every panel on every page, and I think that’s a cool thing to keep in mind not just for the contestants, but for all the other artists out there looking to break in as well.

5. Did the Legion assignment prepare you for another increase in pages, or was it still a shock to go to 5 pages in one week?

It did, and it still was. I’ve been training myself to be capable of turning in one good page a day, not script 4 and a cover in 3 1/2 days, and it was a little tough trying to figure out a way to make the fifth round my best round without sacrificing any quality. I managed to make a schedule for the weekend, threw that out the window once I realized I forgot to factor in something called sleep and, like that Silvestri guy said in one of his posts, proceeded to operate with a ticking bomb strapped under my chair and I still managed to have some fun! The concept of the assignment was cool, Jon Reed did an awesome, awesome job and I loved seeing the entries in the Play at Home thread.

6. Which style of script do you prefer working with - detailed or loose?

Doesn’t matter to me - it’s all math (and fortunately it’s a math I enjoy!) I’ve had the pleasure of drawing from a variety of scripts, but no matter how detailed or restrictive a script might seem there’s no way around working creative problem-solving into the mix. I still get to play the role of director, actor, stage set and design, etc.

Hopefully, whatever I do with either kind of script, the writer will be proud, if they see it, and it will be worth the reader’s time.

7. Has this encouraged or discouraged you from continuing to pursue a career as a full-time comic artist?

Well, nothing’s going to discourage me from pushing to make a career in comic art. If my arms fall off I’ll draw comics with my feet. But this contest has been both an opportunity and a challenge, and I need and want both. I’d never actually thought of competing with other artists directly before (certainly not like this), and being pitted against the awesome talents of my fellow competitors I felt I had to flex muscles I’d never even thought of developing, and it felt good. It’s been an extremely unique experience and it’s helped make my pursuit of a career in this field that much more interesting.

8. What compelled you to apply to Comic Book Idol?

My awesome girlfriend, Stephanie, found it online. She’s been extremely pro-active in helping me with this contest and has been supportive of my work ever since I met her. Given that and how much she liked the American Idol show, it seemed like the best of both worlds for her, I think, so I did some research on the contest and found that I had to try to get in. Thanks, Stephanie!

9. Finally, take this space to promote the heck out of whatever you would like to promote!

Well, I did a short horror story called War Diaries with my friend, Steve Talaba, a while ago and it was just recently published in the UK anthology magazine, Something Wicked #03 (thanks, Andrew Scott and Dave Evans!) It can be found here: www.futurequake.co.uk

I’ll always be working on my own untitled projects that will someday reach publication so keep your eyes peeled for my name, but in the meantime please feel free to join my friends and I over at tentonstudios.com. They have a weekly sketch challenge (everyone’s welcome to play!) and the artists there are great! You can see what they’re up to in the professional comics world, showcase your own work, play in the sketch challenge or talk about movies and weird news (eight-limbed babies and vomit-inducing meteor strikes!)

Thanks a lot, Charles!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jon Reed wins Comic Book Idol 3!
Wins by less than 1%… Reed goes from an accounting assistant to comic book fame by winning the popular comic book art contest.

LOS ANGELES - After thousands of votes have been cast, an accounting assistant from Alexandria, Va., is the new Comic Book Idol. And he may need a new computer mouse after wearing his out.

“I just kept hitting ‘refresh,’ ‘refresh,’ ‘refresh,’” says Jon Reed, the Comic Book Idol 3 winner. He was eagerly watching as the votes were coming in, and with such a narrow margin of victory – an even 600 votes for Reed, while the runner-up, Charles Paul Wilson III, finished with an oh-so-close 581 votes – one can understand the nervousness he must have experienced. “It was stressful,” sighs Reed.

By winning CBI 3, the comic artist talent search contest hosted by www.comicbookresources.com, Reed gets an all-expense paid trip to the 2008 New York City Comicon, where Comic Book Idol host and comic book writer J Torres will help him network and meet industry leaders. Reed also gets assignments from IDW Publishing, Oni Press and Image Comics for winning the contest.

“I think that even previous contestants will agree that this was the most diverse and polished group of ten we’ve seen to date,” Torres said. “That made it for a tougher contest for those involved, and a better show for us fans to watch.”

Reed outlasted an incredible talent pool for CBI 3 that featured a global field, with contestants from England, Brazil and Canada. It was also a diverse field, with not only the accounting professional, who eventually won, but also a waiter and a security guard up against a batch of freelance artists. And the fans flocked to the competition – comicbookresources.com experienced a 500% increase in new traffic to its forum during the Comic Book Idol contest.

“It was funny listening to others (not involved in the contest), how stressed out they were,” Reed says. “I think people like to get behind someone… it’s like reality TV.”

Fans will be able to continue to cheer for Reed, as he is serious about making it in the comic book profession. He’s been dreaming of being a comic book artist since kindergarten, he says, and he was so dedicated to competing in Comic Book Idol 3 that he took sick days from work to stay home and complete the assignments.

“I’ve never imagined myself doing any other thing than drawing comics,” the 28-year-old says. “If it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t work out. I’ve heard how tough it is to break into the paid artists club. But I’ve always loved drawing comics, and I always will.”

And it’s “wait until next year” for the rest of the would-be Comic Book Idols.

“Each time we run Comic Book Idol we learn a lot about how to run it better and how to improve future editions,” Jonah Weiland, executive producer of Comicbookresources.com, says. “That said, we’ve already begun planning for the 2008 edition of the contest and we’ve got big multi-media plans that should make Comic Book Idol that much more engaging for contestants and viewers alike.”

Comic Book Resources (CBR) is the premier online comics magazine. Renowned for its high quality content and active community, CBR draws almost 2 million fans every month.

Hello, comic book fans, and welcome to the season finale of Comic Book Idol 3.Â

I’m your host J. Torres and I’m pleased to announce that, after a record of close to 1200 votes cast in our final poll, the results are in…

Jon Reed = 600 votes

Charles Paul Wilson III = 581 votesÂ

That means that Jon Reed of Alexandria, Virginia is this season’s Comic Book Idol! Congratulations, Jon!Â

You win an all-expenses paid trip to New York City for the New York Comic Con, a Witchblade cover assignment, assignments from IDW Publishing and Oni Press, and a slot in Image Comics’ Pop Gun anthology.

Jon, for me and a couple of the judges, you deserve the “Most Improved Player” award on top of it all. You were the “little account assistant that could.” I’d also throw “Miss Congeniality” your way because you’re such a nice guy. If we were dealing with each other on eBay, my feedback for you would read: “Good communication. Would do business with again.” In other words, I like what you have to offer and you sold me on your unique style of art. In the previous round in particular, in my humble opinion, I thought you turned in the best pages. I look forward to seeing what you end up doing for IDW and Oni, and you know where to find me if you need a hand with the Pop Gun story

Meanwhile, Charles doesn’t walk away from the contest empty-handed! He’s going to have his artwork from Rounds 1 and 2 published in an upcoming issue of “Fathom” and the forthcoming “Wonderlost” trade paperback. And I’m sure that won’t be the last we hear of CPW3.

Thanks for playing such a good game, Charles. You were solid and professional throughout the entire contest and you should be proud of getting this far. We all know you’re going even further from here.Â

Don’t miss Brian Cronin’s interviews with our winner and first runner-up in “Idol Thoughts.” And make sure to stay tuned to CBR for release dates and other details not only about Jon and Charles’ work, but some exciting news regarding some of our other contestants. I think many fans will be happy to see where some of their favorites have ended up…

Thanks to all ten of our talented contestants for the excitment, camaraderie and great art that they brought to this year’s competition. Thanks to all our judges who took time out of their busy schedules and provided the contestants with some insightful, invaluable critiques. Thanks to Jonah, Brandon, Brian, Seth and the rest of the CBR crew for all their hard work and support behind the scenes. And thanks to all of YOU for voting, posting, and watching this very memorable season of Comic Book Idol!

See you next time?

Here’s a Q & A with another member of the Comic Book Idol Final Four, Caio Oliveira!

Enjoy!

1. It was a crazy vote this week! Did you find yourself checking the polls constantly, or did you just wait until the end (even PAST “the end” this time)?

Yeah, it sure was! Well, I don’t have an internet connection in my home, so I needed to go to my friends house to check the polls every week. This week, the first time I checked the polls I was the 3rd guy and the day after, I was the first! I felt good, because I had this inner feeling that this week I was going home (in fact I even shaved my beard. Didn’t you get it? Ask the other guys!). In the end, I was right about going home and that’s why it was not a surprise to me.

2. Obviously, it is not that people didn’t like your work, as you have come in the top two practically the whole competition, but if you had to guess, what do you think about your pages didn’t click with the audience this week?

I don’t know. The fourth round was my favorite in the entire competition and a lot of people AND the judges agree about it. I don’t think that I failed to capture the audience this week, because if you check it in the results, the amount of votes that I had in each poll through the whole competition was basically the same. The point here is that CPW and Reed did a wonderful job and THEIR votes increased more than mine.

3. You’ve read the judges comments as well as the public comment thread — did any comments strike you as unfair? Which comments were right on the mark?

Oh man, I was hoping this question doesn’t show up! Ok. I really appreciated the critiques of Silvestri and Ryall (IDW) and Francis Manapul (in fact, I was certain the fourth round bonus prize would be mine ). I want to thank all the judges for the critiques and say that I’m working on my pages following their recommendations.

About this “unfair” thing, I don’t know if that’s the correct word to express how I felt, but there was a certain round when I was really enthusiastic about the judge critiques (because I really liked my pages that round), and when they came I thought “WHAT?!?”

I know, I know, I’ve got to loose this maternal feeling about my art, but at that round it looked just… “unfair”.

4. What was the hardest part about the Legion assignment for you?

Collecting the references! Man, these guys change costumes a lot more than they change their leader (Did you get it Mr. Aragonés? A hint for a next Sergio Aragonés Destroys DC )!! Other than that, I’ve got nothing more to complain about. I really loved every single minute of the process.

5. Which style of script do you prefer working with - detailed or loose?

Loose. When the writer details it a lot I feel tied. And if I don’t come up with whatever exact image that the writer was imagining, I don’t get that “mission accomplished” feeling.

6. While you can feel free to be diplomatic and not answer - who do you think takes it - Charles or Jon?

Charles. This guy has shown great pages throughout the whole competition and his art screams “MAINSTREAM” every panel. AND he is very popular also.

Ok, that was me trying to think as an editor. Now, for MY own taste, I like Jon’s page most. I really like his storytelling and his style suits me more.

7. Are you planning on stopping by and participating in the final play-at-home thread?

Yep, I did the pages of the fifth round. Check it out at the play-at-home thread. Hope you
enjoy.

8. Has this encouraged or discouraged you from continuing to pursue a career as s full-time comic artist?

Of course it encouraged! I had a huge amount of new exposure of my art and a lot of improvement due to judges critiques. Anyway, drawing is the only thing I’m good enough to be paid for!

9. Finally, take this space to promote the heck out of whatever you would like to promote!

Okay, to everybody who liked my art: I’m working on a project about werewolves with Joel Cook, a friend of mine. Whenever it is ready, I’ll be back to submit a lot of promotional pieces at the CBR foruns.

Oh, and I want this opportunity to thank everyone that vote for me, support me or even take a time to look at my art. Thank you guys. Thank you CBR crew. And above all, thank you MBB. They were the first ones who told me about this competition and who encouraged me and who support me from the beginning.

THANK YOU ALL!

And thank YOU, Caio!

Here’s a Q & A with Final Four contestant, Dan McDaid!
Enjoy!
1. How crazy was it last week? Did you find yourself checking the polls constantly, or did you just wait until the end? How do you prepare yourself before the voting? Do you do the ol’ “prepare yourself for the worst” routine or what?
Yeah, [...]

Yeah, last week was insane! I hadn’t canvassed too much in the previous weeks, due to having the - maybe slightly misguided - notion that the work should stand on its own, but my partner was adamant that I wasn’t going out like a sucka (her words… you wouldn’t think she was Scottish) so we hit Facebook, texted friends, PMed family, you name it. One awesome thing that fell out of that was that I got a vote from this very sweet old lady (I’m told - I’ve never met her) who resides at my (deep breath) partner’s mum’s nursing home. So HUGE thanks to biglizzie for that. I like to think it was her vote that made the difference. And yeah, I was refreshing the page pretty much constantly, particularly towards the end there. I was mentally ready to go out that week, had planned a weekend of television, drinking and being asleep, and
then… well I found myself drawing the Legion.

Crumbs, eh?

2. Obviously, it is not that people didn’t like your work, as this is not a “vote out the people you DON’T like”, but if you had to guess, what do you think about your pages didn’t click with the
audience this week?

I don’t think it came down to that so much as the other contestants having more friends and family to keep them in. Ha ha, I kid! I’ve got LOADS of friends.

I think my style is like Marmite (filthy brown yeast paste that you put on toast - not sure what the American version of that is…). It’s either loved or hated and there isn’t a lot in between. I put a lot of work into the roughs, so I knew the flow of the story was sound, but when it came to doing the pages I hadn’t really left myself enough time for polish and all that sexy stuff (backgrounds, flashy details) that the kids love. I’d love to have done these in colour as well, cos I think my style really flies in colour.

There were things I liked about my entry this week, but I knew it wasn’t perfect so I wasn’t massively surprised that I went out. I still think I did the best robot though! And I think at least twenty percent of the votes I got were for the inclusion of Matter-Eater Lad. God bless Matter-Eater Lad.

3. You’ve read the judges comments as well as the public comment thread — did any comments strike you as unfair? Which comments were right on the mark?

Vince Hernandez comment about my cityscape leaving something to be desired really cut to the quick… but that’s always the way when there’s an aspect of your work you feel could do with some tightening. So he totally called me on that I think. No the judges have been brilliant. Marc Silvestri has been particularly good: great eye for detail, straight up and honest, and always a perfect gentleman. That means a lot where I come from.

4. What was the hardest part about the Legion assignment for you?

Actually, I think my problem with this assignment was that I thought it was going to be easy. Well, easy-ish. I’ve done stuff for kids before so I knew I could draw a cute alien child, and I’ve designed alien city backdrops for my work in Doctor Who illustration, so I was pretty sure my city would be good. And, despite what some of the punters on the forum thought, superheroes are my bread and butter. Couldn’t be easier, right? Well… I think this meant that I fell back on some old tricks rather than pushing into new territory and stretching myself. It was t’riffic fun,
though.

5. Which style of script do you prefer working with - detailed or loose?

I like both. Dull answer, but there it is. Each offers different challenges: with the detailed script you’re trying to hit some invisible marker inside the writer’s head, and when you get that right it’s terrific. With the loose style there’s more room for personal expression, silly background detail, mucking about with layouts… I write a bit myself, so it’s nice to bring some more of my voice into the storytelling.

6. While you can feel free to be diplomatic and not answer - who do you think takes it - Charles or Jon?

Caio Oliveira!!! Damn, force of habit. Charles, probably. None of the artists in the competition are perfect (except for Caio and Jose, in my book), but almost all of them are “ready”, and C3P0 and Jon Reed both fit into that category. But of them both, Charles has the clearest, most accessible style. I think he needs to loosen up a little - for all the detail and atmosphere in his work, there’s some stiffness there. Jon’s work has plenty of action, but his style is a tougher sell. I like ‘em both though - every week they’ve astonished and humbled me with what they’ve
accomplished.

7. Are you planning on stopping by and participating in the final play-at-home thread?

God, no. My hands are worn down to nubs. NUBS! Actually, it’s going to prove very hard to resist as Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends was THE show for me when I was a kid. Remember when those two cops pulled their guns on Iceman and shouted “Freeze!” and Iceman… well, you get the idea. Loved it. So I might do something. I have an idea for a cover, an old school Gil Kane kind of thing: ATTACK OF THE GARGANTUAN GOBLIN! If I’ve got time I’ll do it.

8. Has this encouraged or discouraged you from continuing to pursue a career as s full-time comic artist?

Oh, encouraged, absolutely. For all that the world of comics is depicted as venal and awkward, being this involved with comics fans and having my work out there has shown me that the comics world is also warm, inclusive and thrilling, not to mention full of great characters. I should at this point say hello to JimmyDee, Shwa96, TheRonin, Mark Cardwell and Gwor -
among many, many others - who supported me to the end with messages, ludicrous exhortations of my abilities (I can’t actually eat hammers) and in one case a gorgeous sketch of my alien boy. Not a euphemism.

9. Finally, take this space to promote the heck out of whatever you would like to promote!

Well, I’m about to start writing and drawing a Doctor Who strip for Panini which is out sometime next year, so look out for that… And everyone should come visit my blog (http://danmcdaid.blogspot.com) to say hi, and
my website (http://danmcdaid.com) to look at my other work. I’d also like to promote myself as a helluva guy with a great sense of humour and impeccable dress sense (ladies, form a queue on the right for make-outs…).

I also cook.

Other than that, I want to say a big thanks to J Torres, Brandon Hanvey, Jonah Weiland, your good self and to everyone at CBR. Also, to all the judges who took time out from their hectic schedules and who were awesome above and beyond the call of duty. I had a REALLY cool time.

Thanks a lot, Dan!
